At the Moment
It’s a rainy Sunday here in North Carolina and also…Mother’s Day! Baldy and I are going to brunch with Lauren and her family. The other two girls couldn’t make it home and we’ll miss them so much, but I totally understand! Life is busy and sometimes the drive is a lot! Summer is coming and we’ll all be together soon and that’s something I always look forward to! Today’s post isn’t specifically a Mother’s Day post, but several years ago, I wrote a letter to my daughters in this post that I think you would enjoy reading!
For some reason, I’ve never worn skirts very much, but when I saw this set from Farm Rio, I just couldn’t resist and I’m so happy that I didn’t! It feels like easy summer to me…perfect for so many different occasions and so pretty! Linen is always a favorite for summer and accepting the wrinkles is part of wearing it and part of the charm. I absolutely love the color of the print…neutral but not, and the scalloped edges of the top and skirt are a gorgeous detail. Farm Rio makes the best pieces and they never disappoint!
These tall heels have been my go to for dresses and longer jeans this season…they are more comfortable than you would think, but you could really wear a variety of shoes with this set. I added jewelry from Julie Vos and a bag from Pool Side for a summery look. I had actually planned to wear this to brunch today, but I would freeze to death so I’ll save it for another time and look forward to wearing it!
In the spirit of community…I want to start sharing blogs and blog posts that really resonate with me! Here are several blogs that I look at regularly…be sure to check them out!

And…Happy Mother’s Day to my mom even though she’s no longer with us! I think of her everyday!
Happy Mother’s Day…wishing all the moms out there the best day ever!
