Weekend Fashion Edition
Happy Saturday! I’m back with another weekend fashion edition post and this is a good one! I’ve included three casual looks and two dressier ones that will take you anywhere!
As you scroll and read, I’ll be sharing the things I’ve purchased and also the things that are in my shopping cart and why I bought them! I would love for you to give me reviews of the things you’ve purchased from my links (or otherwise), because obviously, I can’t buy everything and I would love to know what you like or don’t like.
I try very hard to link quality items that I know are great or that have been recommended to me, but again, I can’t always do that! Sometimes, when you click on an item, you’ll see a red box that says “frequently returned item”. I’ve come to realize that it doesn’t mean the product isn’t good because some of the things I love (like the sunglasses I always link) have that red box. Amazon is such a huge platform and it really helps to have reviews from you all so that I know what you’re loving so leave a comment at the end of the post if you have a recommendation!
This first look is such an easy summer outfit to throw on and it has so much style! I ordered the peasant top (it hasn’t come yet) and I do hope I love it as much in person as I do in the picture! I also ordered the Rag & Bone hat and I do love it! I have a small head and hats are hard for me. I’ve found that a bucket hat is typically a style I can wear and I’m so happy this one worked. It is packable and really cute! I also ordered the earrings…they go with so much and I’ll definitely be sharing them soon on Instagram. Although I haven’t purchased the white jeans, I do own other Joe’s jeans and it’s a great brand. I’m having a hard time restraining myself from ordering the cute mesh gold shoes, but I have so many other similar pairs that I just don’t need them but they’re so fabulous! No words for the bucket bag…sooo cute!
For the second look…I own the dress in light blue and it’s a great summer dress. It is linen, or linen like, so it wrinkles but all linen does and that’s part of the charm. I also bought the sandals in light blue to wear with the dress…I guess I accidentally ordered the wrong size because they were too large and I had to send them back, but I do really like them and the quality seems good, so I reordered in the correct size. They take a while to arrive and my expected delivery date is May 27…I’ll let you know! I own the brown sunglasses in 3 or 4 other colors and they’re fabulous. Love the jewelry and the bag but I haven’t ordered those.
Outfit number three..this look is so “me”, but I don’t own anything here except for the sunglasses and the lipstick. I first purchased Sisely Paris lipstick in December when I was in New York and it’s so moisturizing and the colors are great! I’m so close to ordering a necklace from Lizzy Fortunato, but they’re a little pricey so I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I might just get myself a little prize! I also have been wanting to try the Quai body spray…I like the idea of a lightly scented, cooling body spray in the summer. And…what about that fabulous bag. My mom used to tell me “you’re old enough for your wants not to hurt you”, and so often when I’m making these collages I think of that and have to laugh a little! Has anyone else heard that saying?

If there is one category missing in my closet right now, it’s shorts. I really purged and donated most of my shorts this season and I’m on the hunt for a few great pairs. I love to wear a pair of denim shorts with a long sleeve blouse and this one is definitely calling my name…but in the name of practicality I ordered the crochet sandals instead (lol!). They’ll be so cute with everything this summer and perfect for the beach!
This amazing dress is in my shopping cart. If I could just order the whole outfit, I would…so perfect for dinner out at the beach. The espadrille wedges are a great price and will go with everything and the same goes for the bag…great summer staple. And…I have been wearing Clinique lipstick for as long as I can remember and it’s still a go-to for me!
That’s it for today! Please don’t forget to leave a review or a recommendation in the comment box. It doesn’t have to be a fashion review…it could be anything! I know everyone would appreciate an honest recommendation!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for reading!
